Iron Ridge Public Library – Part time

The Iron Ridge Public Library seeks a Library Director to administer a library in a small rural community in Dodge County, Wisconsin. The library offers access to over 2.3 million library items via Monarch Catalog, online learning, digital resources, WiFi and public computer access, events, programs, and more! The library is a member of Monarch Library System from which the library director can find guidance and support in many areas of librarianship.

Slinger, WI | Library Circulation Clerk

Slinger Community Library – 15 hrs/week

The Slinger Community Library is seeking a friendly, dependable tech-savvy and service-oriented Circulation Clerk to join their team. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for patrons, helping them access library materials and services with a smile. Strong customer service skills are a must, and comfort with technology is essential – they need someone who can assist with checking out books to navigating digital resources.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service at the circulation desk, including checking materials in and out, issuing library cards, and answering patron questions.
  • Assist patrons with library technology such as computers, printers, and e-resources
  • Maintain accurate records and handle routine transactions with attention to detail
  • Help keep the library organized, welcoming, and running smoothly
  • Collaborate with staff on special projects and library events as needed

What They’re Looking For:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Solid technology skills, including comfort with common software, devices, and online tools
  • Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a busy environment
  • A flexible, team-oriented attitude and a willingness to learn

Pay: $14.57 per hour

15 Hours per Week: One morning shift 9am-2pm and two afternoon shifts 2pm-7pm weekly; one Saturday shift 9am-12pm per month required

Sheboygan, WI | Bookmobile Library Assistant/Driver

Monarch Bookmobile – 30 hrs/week

The Monarch Library System is seeking a part-time (30 hrs/week) Bookmobile Library Assistant to assist in the operation of the bookmobile to rural residents of Sheboygan and Ozaukee counties. Under the direction of the Manager of Bookmobile Services, this position works closely with the bookmobile staff and requires a strong customer service mindset. Ideal candidates will have a personal interest in reading, familiarity with various genres and popular authors, an interest in working with bookmobile library patrons of all ages, a current CDL driver’s license or the ability to get one within 3 months and a passion for helping others. The position is based in Sheboygan, WI.

Salary and Benefits: Starting pay $15.50 per hour. Excellent benefits include pro-rated vacation & sick time, 14 pro-rated paid holidays, Wisconsin retirement, life insurance, flexible spending account, and income continuation. Frank L. Weyenberg Library of Mequon-Thiensville – 20 hours/week

The Frank L. Weyenberg Library of Mequon-Thiensville (WI) seeks a detail-oriented individual to join our Library team in a new position that supports library administration, including accounts payable, cash handling and deposits; and employee onboarding, payroll and benefits; records management, correspondence, and Weyenberg Public Library Foundation support.

This year-round position is 20 hours per week on a flexible schedule and may include some evening and weekend hours. The successful applicant will need to be reliable in meeting his/her schedule, detail oriented, and be able to work independently. Starting rate is $25 per hour plus time off benefits (pro-rated vacation, sick leave, holidays, and a personal day).
